How does the sizing run?

They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size golden goose sneakers men’s 6, and I went with a European 36.

Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.

Is the comfort worth it?

They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Also, they’re already softened so your feet just get comfortable fast.

How durable are they?

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.

Would you recommend them?

Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a low-key version would also look great.
